I am trying to back up the alien dvds using dvd xcopy, the programe reads the discs, but when I put in a blank it counts down for about 40 secs, then says finalising disc. After about 15 mins it then fails...any ideas. I have tried dvd shrink and nero, is there anything better I could use?? any advise would help thanks.
Have you used the software before with any problems? If not Have you installed any new programs since your last burn, if so there may be a conflict, try uninstalling the newer program not the xcopy.
What version of XCopy? And since you brought it up... What are your problems with Shrink and Nero? And the problems you describe I(myself) would update my aspi layer and my XCopy program. But after seeing success with a patin-couffin update I would suggest trying that also.
