my main issue is that i somehow got xvid that had same lighting than the source...now i always get too light and high contrast output also with divx... http://sauli.cjb.cc/bitrate.gif http://sauli.cjb.cc/resolution.gif http://sauli.cjb.cc/saveavs.gif i just tested different field settings and and the first one was that in the captures...after i tried others i couldn't get that good version anymore...perhaps i did something differently that i don't remember... also do i need to do anything else to remove interlacing than the field settings...the source is ntsc interlaced (0.00% FILM)
Well that's good. If you were to deinterlace the file, do it through AVISynth and use the filter FieldDeinterlace. That's probably the simplest way to go about it. TTFN.
Yes, this should be encoded @ 30fps with simple de-interlace filter. Field Deinterlace (good choice) would be selected just before GKnot saves the AVS script :^) L8R
I also heard that beta versions of XviD has lighting problems with some users, so you should stick with final versions.
