I used DVD43 v1.4 for over a year, suffering through it's idiosyncrasies .. I've used v3.6.1 and v3.6.2 also to some degree of success .. but, from time to time, they would randomly 'lock up' and wouldn't always decrypt all DVDs fed to them ... Finally, after having lots of trouble re-installing v3.6.2, I got smart and purchased Any DVD ... WOW, what a difference ... It was highly recommended by many AD members and I can certainly see why .. It always works, and very well .. A free 21-day trial is available and is highly recommended ... You'll never go back to the inferior DVD43!

I'm sorry if this seems like an advertisement, but this proggy really works ..

Sorry that you guys are having problems with DVD43. It has worked great for me. I guess it must be temperamental with different computer configurations; so I guess I must be the lucky one.

I have ANYDVD on my "to buy" list, because of the reviews it is given; but until the "need" arises, I'll stick with what is working for me....

    happy burning to you all....
