dvddecrypter error

    hello, i would appreciate any help on this error message. it is:

    I/O Error!

    Device: [1:0:0] Philips dvd+RW SDVD6004 1.06 (D:) (ATA)

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
    Interpretation: Write (10) – Sectors: 0-31

    Interpretation: Cannot Write Medium – Incompatible Format

    i thought that i saw it before on this forum, but it might have been a different one and i just can't remember what i did last time. thanks for any help.

    doesnt like disc used...

    try updating firmware to drive...

    Check with the manufacturer of your burn drive for firmware update. Or if using ImgBurn go to tools>drive>update firmware.

    I have had this same problem. Try using a different reader. I keep multiple readers in my pc just for that reason. Its a good idea to have latest firmware tho.
    Also, i see "incompatible format" are you trying to write to a -r disc with a +r burner?

    i would have tried different disk right away, but i have already burned 20+ dvds onto these specific discs..... even tried another disc in the "stack"...

    are you runninghte spti driver with dvdD?

    is your DMA enabled for ide drives?
