Just started with this and would like some help.Installed dvdfab 0.17.0 and the plug-in but I get a can't access dvd error.I'm trying too split a large movie so I can put it on 2 disks. Running XP P4(1.5) 40&120 gig.
try dvd shrink--it will rip and compress the whole dvd onto one disc. Check out Oriphus' guide. http://www.chrismccann.co.uk/user_guides.htm If you are trying to use dvdfab, do you have any problems with the dvd drive with other programs. What kind of drive do you have? You could check task manager and see if there might be other programs accessing the drive. It could be something as simple as rebooting.
I have a NEC ND1300a(Pine)and I have rebooted.I do have problems with this burner and other programs. I don't like movies that are compressed too much.DVD-rs are cheap now and I would like all of the movie and extras.
