    ok,

sometimes I am getting a error message when trying to pull the VOB files off the disc using DVDFab HD Decrypter sayings "cannot read disk" "abort" "rety" "ignore" or "ignore all".

it cannot get past this point no matter what. the disks dont seem damaged.

would there be a software conflict that does this? if so how can I fix that?

alos, would maybe AnyDVD work better? I've tried to use AnyDVD but, I am unsure as to how you use it in conjunction with Nero. Like I know how to use DVDFAB with Nero, but not AnyDVD. Like what is the process to burn a DVD?

would using AnyDVD solve the issue with non-readable sectors or whatever?

AnyDVD probably won't solve the non readable disc bit - that sounds more like a disc read problem esp. if you're using the latest version of dvd fab - 3.1.8.0.

AnyDVD is just a driver that runs in the background removing the copy protection. It's on & working in the background when you see a red fox in the system tray. When it's on just pop the disc on the drive and open Nero.
You can try the ripper part of it - right click on the red fox and pick rip video dvd to hard disc.

Try cleaning off the disc w/ something non abrasive.
If you have another drive you can rip from - try that one some are better then others at ripping bad spots. You might not be able to see the bad spot but the drive does when ripping.
