I am a newbie and I don't have the space on my hard drive to decrypt a DVD-9 onto my hard drive then save the split files as well (~18GB; my HD is only 20GB and I am using 3GB for regular programs). Can someone help me use the DVDFab software with the encryption plugin. I downloaded the zip file for the plugin but when I extracted the file, I didn't get a dll file, I got 5 other files. Can someone give detailed instructions on how to install this plugin. thanks.
mcfly982, I'm not sure what's giving you trouble with DVDFab, just use DVD43 (free) or AnyDVD ($$$) - they work in the background and will rip your DVD and make it region freec so that DVDFab can work with them. The DVDFab program is fair at best in that it will force you to burn 2 discs for a DVD-9 backup. Take a second and read on - BUT 1st, you don't Decrypt a DVD-9 with DVD Decrypter. You use DVDShrink and then burn with Nero - at best you might need a max of 8 Gig. NEVER 18.
