DVDFab Platimum gives no audio track

I am new to using DVD Fab.

I am making an avi of a dvd backup using the movie only nad
generic recode options. Everything pops up in the windows where
it should be but the final recode has no sound or sound file.

I am not able to do much more than use the click through options
without help to find this problem.

What should I be watching for to get the audio portion of the
dvd set right?

 

Drag the AVI on to GSpot and verify that it has no audio
If it has audio, look for the message that the codec is installed.
