Is it worth buying? Is there a guide for it? A special forum I should go to?

I have the trial version and can't figure out how to find and remove unwanted parts. (working with already decrypted files) I can easily find them with Shrink, but Shrink will no longer work on my computer.

Try VobBlanker to find and remove unwanted parts. It only works on decrypted files and IMHO it is the best there is in freeware.

The free version DvdFab HD Decrypter is actually faster than DvdFab Platinum. Dvd Shrink should work on your computer unless you have Vista. Then you have to run it in the admin mode and make it windows xp compatibility.

Yes, it should and has for years. Suddenly after a "Windows Update" it started 'not responding' when I click "Backup" and freezing up the computer. A "System Restore" to earlier dates did not correct the problem. My system resources and CPU usage seem just fine.

I'm going to miss the simplicity and ease of AnyDVD & Shrink, but time and technology move on & it's time for an old dog to learn new tricks. The DVDFab info is much appreciated. Since Premium won't do what I want, then would be a waste of $. Will spend the day getting reacquainted with VoBlanker. The older I get the more difficult learning new things becomes.

    Thanks, everyone!

I have Win XP Pro MCE and do have Nero7 Ultra. Guess I should play with them more.

I'm VoBlanking a DVD now with AnyDVD in the background. I guess from there I will have to use Nero Recode? Programs that are intuitive are what I need because am so poor at following a manual unless in the form of one of the excellent guides I saw here yesterday.
