i went through all of the divx to dvd forums and finally used vsodivx to dvd. i got it to burn
but when i popped the dvd into my player it would play and the sound was there but it flipped like an old vhs tape trying to find tracking haha.
i'm in a bind! i have so many movies on here that i'm dying to watch on tv
    like fear and loathing.
you cant watch that on a comp
you miss so much of the good stuff!
any help would be much much appreciated.
    thanks

its not the dvd-r's because i used the same ones to burn copy to copies.
maybe my vob files are screwed up?
    i have no idea.
    this is bugging me.
    someone help! haha

Do you mean there are horizontal lines going across the video? If so this sounds like a PAL/NTSC problem.

Make sure you have the TV setting in vsodivx to dvd set to NTSC and not PAL.

You have the output size setting probably set to DVD9 which needs to be set to DVD5.

Click Settings then Encoding to change the output size to DVD5 (Single Layer Disc)

    hmm i thought so
    mine looks totally different
unless i have a trial version or something.
i dont have all the tabs that showed up like the two above.
    all i have is
force 14.9 *or whatever the size of the screen is*
    and force nscl or pal
    but no tabs.
