DVDs coming out blank all of a sudden?

    I had been burning DVDs perfectly using DVD Copy Xpress. Now when I try to burn dvds, they come out blank. I switched to DVD Fab Express and I DVD worked then the rest have been blank ever since. I switched media 3 times and are now using Verbatim. Yes I upgraded my firmware. What should I do?
    But cds still burn perfectly.

    what kind of burner do you have? and what is the latest firmware you have on your drive? let us know...

    Hope that you did'nt clear burner's lens using any kinf of cd cleaner

    I have the toshiba sd-r6012 drive in the sony vaio. I have the latest firmware for the drive from the sony website. It is version 1S34. I have not used any cd cleaners in the drive
