DVDs Freeze & Start Over!

    I use different software, including DVD Cloner, DVD Shrink, AnyDVD, etc. Anyway, on certain movies, it will play up until the last few minutes of the movie, freeze and start over. The DVD plays fine on my PC. I have had about 4 movies to do this, and all my other movies play just fine.

    Any suggestions?

    If you mean that the dvds are freezing , when being played on your tv through your dvd player , it is probably a heat issue, rebtal dvds may play fine but copied dvds seem to have more problems, I had this problem with a LG machine , bought a new Philips and no problems

    could be the media that you're using...what kind/brand dvd's do you use?

    Common causes of these problems include:
    1. Poor quality media - try Verbatim, TYs or Ritek
    2. Buring too fast - suggest start with burning at 4x
    3. Use of paper labels on burnt DVDs
    4. Burning on the fly.
    5. Burning too close to the edge - restrict to 4300 to 4400 Mb
    6. Finincky standalone - go for an el cheapo Chinese player.
