Hi, I recently just bought a dvd-recorder from American for 82$ (astar model) and got it all hooked up and working just in time for the Sopranos which aired Sunday. I recorded it and when I was done recording it, I played it on the dvd-recorder just to make sure it worked, and it did. However, when I gave it to my buddy at work to watch, he said it didnt play on his dvd player. Anyone have any suggestions or know what the problem is? Thanks in advance.
Did you finalize the disc? You need to finalize all DVDs (escept DVD+RW) to be able to play 'em on anything except the source recorder ...
