The Dvdsanta program WILL NOT convert the avi files to DVD files. I always get an error message. Sent email to Dvdsanta site and it came back unanswered. Perhaps there is someone on this site who can help.
DVDSanta is a very flexible encoder. But if it doesn't work for you, you may try use e.g. VSO DivxToDVD (free version) to encode the avi, then burn with e.g. Nero: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm Good luck!
