I've been using dvdsanta a for a while now and have'nt had problems up until now, i downloaded an xvid movie, extracted the rars to give me the avi file but dvdsanta says it's an unsupported video stream and is unable to open it, any ideas anyone?
First, why a DVD? An AVI movie is 700-800 MB large. A DVD movie is 4.5 GB large! You have to expect very little quality with respeect a DVD movie. VCD is comparable and much easier to do. Second: in general you cannot load a movie (e.g. with TMPGenc I never used your application) if you don't have the proper codec. Do you have Xvid properly installed? Can you see the movie with Windows Media Player or the excellent (and freeware) BSPlayer?
