I have been using the older version of DVDShrink for a while now, but have recently found that the process of analysing has become very slow. The buffer reads 1.5Mb/s, which takes and average disc of 7Gb nearly 2 hours to process, then another hour to encode. I'm sure that it was a lot faster than this (and the buffer size was greater). Does DVDShrink store any temporary files which may be causing this 'clogging'? (I would have thought no because you do not have to install the program!) Or is it something else? Any ideas fellow DVDShrinkers?
what size processor do you have? does everything on your pc run slower lately? what version of windows do you have? how much memory?
