Pleeeez help!!!! New at this. Has anyone heard of DVDSqueeze6? Its suppose to shrink ripped DVDs so that they can be burned ona CD burner on a CD-R disk. Is this possible? I tried to rip a DVD with Smartrip -found ASPI- but only got sound-no video? What did I do wrong?

Of course it's possible - look in the software pages of this site.

Look thru all 173 pages! Found ? posted by nverlose1 on 12/11/03 and answered by ScubaPete but it doesn't say anything about the DVDsqueeze software. Did I waste money buying this? Its suppose to put a whole DVD on one CD-R using a CD burner.? I don't have a DVD burner. Thought I could use this software instead.

I'm a little confused. Are you saying you want DVD Squeeze or you have used it? You only mention that you have used smartrip. If you want DVD Squeeze get it from here; http://www.dvdsqueeze.com/
There should also be a way of contacting them at that site if it doesn't work.

    Mcmillian,

DVDSqueeze version 6.0 Packaged $39.95 or $59.95 "What the Pros use" -

Which means that I know what you are talking about, I've never used it, sorry -

The reason I recommended DVDShrink is that it Rips, compresses AND because it was free - Nero, who has the Mini-DVD (to CD) format is a super-burning program and from what I understand, you'll need that with DVDSqueeze 6.0 also. My understanding is that your program does the same as Shrink but it costs $$ but like Shrink it doesn't burn.

As far as ripping a DVD, the easiest way, Look No Hands, Mom - I would suggest AnyDVD. Free for 30 Days, then you must purchase (I hate spending $).

Free from the get go, DVD Decrypter. As far as ripping, you shouldn't have a problem using that program.

If I can be of any help I'll certainly be here for you -
