I have dvdxcopy platinum and when I try to copy a movie in express mode to DVD-r or +r it reads the movie but when it begins to write I get an error writing disc. When I use a DVD+rw disc it works just fine. I'm a lil new at this and have many movies I'd like to burn. I'd like to burn them to DVDr's though since their much cheaper. I'd be thankful for any help.

I bought a new Plextor DVD burner and thought it may be a problem with that brand but everywhere I look the reviews for that DVD burner are very high.

i just sent an email to techsupport @321studios and hope they dont take long to get back to me. I got the pioneer dvr-a06u that was recomended to me by a sales guy at Frys electronics store and a customer there also said he had no problems with it so im thinking software problems or setting. If you get any answers please post or send me a private message

I had similar problem with older version of DVDxcopy. I found that sometimes the CPU had to sit for up to 30 minutes apparently doing nothing-then the burn would start. If too impatient for that go ahead and burn to your +RW and then use an alternate burning program such as Roxio disc copier to copy the +RW to your write once format.
