One man. One desire. Two paths. A hidden option. Who can help him? That is the question. Are u the answer? This summer in theaters near some1 else: "PC to TV: The HD concept" It's the story of a young man in his prime, searching for the best way to connect his PC to his HDTV, preferably for watching anime, but for playing games as well and basically using his HDTV as a PC screen in general. An epic quest of unfathomable proportions, revolving around the ultimate dilemma of DVI to HDMI combined with an extra cable for sound(http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-3-5mm-Stereo-Male-Cable/dp/B000V0G2C4/ref=sr_1_19/182-1148417-6606735?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1233799149&sr=1-19) or a VGA to VGA connection using a special cable that also provides audio feed on a seperate jack(http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-Monitor-Cable-3-5mm-Audio/dp/B0018MDDE4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1233834777&sr=8-1#moreAboutThisProduct)? With the extra prospect of a way yet unknown to him, our hero can only be buffled by the many questions surrounding his ordeal. Only u can help this acer aspire 7520G user in his adventure. Take his fate into your hands and don't let the fact that he's talking about himself in the 3d person frighten u. Are u up to the task? Is our hero? Only time can tell...and also u xd
If you want to view hd compliant content you will need to use HDMI TO HDMI OR DVI TO HDMI if you want ho hum video content use VGA. I would also connect my audio via spdif to my surround system for 5.1 sound in fact I just built an htpc with this exact setup-hdmi to hdmi and because my sound system doesn't have hdmi I used spdif out to my home theatre system added a blu-ray drive to the pc and wireless keyboard and mouse and Vista Home Premium with PowerDVD Ultra 9, now we watch blu-ray, dvd, Hulu, Crackle, Netflix all from the couch on our 37" hdtv in crisp beautiful clarity with great sound depth
What's hum our hero wonders, u know, since he's greek. He's really impressed, while u act he only dreams. A recently broken laptop results to that it seams. Ans minding these things does equal to geek. It just merely means, u know how to live. But don't be afraid, his laptop he'll give. And some tech support I trust he'll receive. And even if not his junk is not fixed and even if he'll not get new pc, this info and help he shall not forget and if he has news he'll post in this thread!
An unexpected twist of plot, as the laptop is ok after all! How long till the next break down, one can't help but wonder?...
