I have the philips divx player. I have taken all the Alien movies and converted them to divx. I can write them to dvd-r using nero, data setting. What I would like to do is make a menu to select which one I want to play instead of the file directory menu that is part of the player. Any ideas? I was planning on say puting four screen shots of each movie, and by selecting a screenshot, it would play that movie. The idea of having all of them on one disc is awesome, the menu would add more to the disc. Thx In Advance Camar068
I may be wrong on this, but I dont believe its possible to have a menu on the xvid or divx discs other than the player created menu. I agree it is so nice to be able to play all those movies on one DVD blank! I am very happy with the philips 642...great for backing up the kids cartoon DVDs and having that much content on one blank disc.
