dx50 codec

    i keep being asked to install this codec but i have already installed the divx package also reinstalled it and still no luck.

    anything i can do??

    Never heard of it but you could install GSpot (dumb name but great program) and open your video in it to ensure the proper video/audio codec is installed. GSpot will tell you if the proper codec is installed and what it is. You also might want to uninstall your codecs and install the Kazza Lite codec pack. I have used the Standard for over 3 years with no problems.

    DX50 is the fourCC for DivX 5.x and 6.x. Xvid and ffdshow can also handle it though.
