when i ripped it to the pc it was over 5 gigs. i deleted the japenese audio files which brought it down to 4.7 gigs...but it's still too big for a dvd5. does anyone know if it's possible to delete any more of the files to get it to fit on a dvd5? -thanks!

No the "trick" to burn it is to get a DVD±R\RW Burner that can also burn 'DL' (Dual layer 8.5Gib), DVD's! And to have plenty of DVD±R-DL DVD's on hand...
i've been having troubles with this game aswell...if there is any other possible solution as in deleting bg music. i heard someone deleted bgm4 and the game ran smoothly but eventually i would assume the game would crash... another possibility is to downsample the movie files...not too sure how to do that yet but i'm sure there is a thread for it on here..just need to search for it...
