ok i have a problem.i need to rerip my cd collection most of them i have the original cd,but there are maybe 20 out of 250 cds that i rip as wav files and i need to use those copys to put back on the computer.anyways i use EAC with alt preset standard and on the original cds it rips fine but on the cd-r wav files it always finds errors and takes ALONG time to rip but after its done there are errors. is there a way to fix this or should i just go buy the cds again? by the way i know musicmatch is not the choice for must but out of desperation i tried it with the cd-r copies and it worked on the 4 i tried slow but worked. any ideas, sorry i didnt check the forum but i only have a day or so to get this done. take care!

Try to use other rippers like ImTOO CD Ripper.

This is actually a very easy problem to fix. Unfortunately, I am at work now, and don't have EAC in front of me...

But, what you have to do is go into File->Prefs...or some option menu in there (there is only one). On one of the four tabs, you will see Error correction. It will probably be set default to high priority.

Set it to a lower priority and you are golden.

EAC is the best audio ripper in my opinion, so if you have any more probs, just post here, and I'm sure someone knows how to get around it.
