Try going into the folder "E:\CACHE" on your hard drive using an FTP connection or file manager program. Delete all files in the folder but don't delete the folder itself.

when you put it on the HDD was it from an original DVD?
If it was a back up does the game play fine when you play
    it off of the DVD?
What program did you use (DVD2Xbox?)
    or did you FTP it?

I used the original disk. and the orginal works fine when the chip is off. but stops at the loadin screens when chip is on..
I used DVD2XBOX and never had a problem till this game.. and haven't FTP'ed it to my xbox...

no, that is very odd. I use DVD2Xbox too and have not had a problem yet. But i do not have that one for Xbox yet
Just for PS2, so i can't test it myself.
FTP is the only other option i know.

yeah you can do that. But after you FTP it you will
have to use something like Craxtion4 to turn the files
into an ISO before you can burn it to DVD.
