Last year I went through the arduous task of converting all of my old analog home movies to DVD format using my DVD recorder. Now I'd like to edit some of the audio on these movies, specifically, I want to remove or simply mute some of the original voice over parts. Is there an easy way to do this using the DVDs (VOB files, etc) or will I need to go back and re-convert the original analog tape into an editable format like an AVI?

    Thanks.

Video Edit Magic can be used to adjust the level of an audio track (between points that you insert in the time line).
I have used it the odd time to mute a naughty word.
It also alows the addition of a second audio track, but I haven't tried this.
