    Use EAC (exact audio copy). Its free and is by far the best ripper out there. It is the only one with extensive error correction to ensure a 100% accurate rip. When combine with the LAME mp3 encoder plugin using 192 or 256 kpbs VBR settings, you will create the best sounding mp3s possible. we have a step by step guide on how to install and use LAME here:
