Does anyone know how to figure out your network settings in Windows Me? Like the ip, subnet mask, and gateway.

    Thanks in advance.

i think its similar to windows 98/95, go to your startmenu, the go to RUN, then type in "winipcfg" or "winipconfig" or "ipconfig", it should bring up a nice window showing all of this stuff.

are you trying to connect your xbox to your pc via a router or a network card and crossover cable?

Is it better to use a router, or a network card and cable, or does it not matter?

If ceamonkey's way doesn't work, try typing cmd and then typing ipconfig in the dos prompt, Ceamonkey, what happened to your other name(Seamonkey)

my other name became inactive (was super busy for a month).. oh well..

i prefer to use a router with a dhcp server (most routers have this built in), it makes connecting to the xbox much easier..
also be sure that if you use a router to make sure in your evox.ini that STATIC IP = NO (since the DHCP server will assign one to the xbox)
