Does anybody know if these items shipped from Hong Kong on ebay are legit? Some of these electronics go for less than $5 sometimes. Does anybody know if they are worth buying?

You didn't mention anything specifically but probably not. I'd be automatically suspicious of any consumer product made there.

It depends.I do ebay alot so I know.
Check their feedback status and see what others said and how high of a percentage they have.Inspect the auction carefully and look for any fine print or something that says refurbished or not tested.

Yes you can buy if it passes those tests.I don't know what the hell would be for 5 bucks but thats probably got lots of time left make sure when you search you have "ending soonest" enabled and not "newly listed"

I've bought a few things from China on ebay and they were fine but those were a living room rug, some prints and so on. I don't think I'd chance buying electronics. A fake persian rug is one thing (and what I expected) a fake Denon is quite another.
