hi i recieved an email lately from an anonymous member on ebay and it had a link which he said was for his item but the page didnt have the word ebay in it yet it ask me to sign in with my ebay account and i did but later realized that it could have been a fake page created to get my account password.then i tried to change my password but now neither my old password works nor does the new one i chose.can anyone please help me on this one.TIA
I did this ONCE while multitasking, realized what I did immediately. Went to my ebay account and changed my password. Got an email back from the frauds saying the information I sent didn't match up, please resubmit. NOT LIKELY. NEVER, NEVER sign into ebay from emails, always go to the official site and make sure HTTPS is in the address bar and a lock appears in the bottom system tray. Send the information and fake email to EBAY and have them investigate. Yes, do as Ireland say and CANCEL NOW!
Listen to what we're saying damn it! You just got raped by a con artist. You need to get ahold of ebay and tell them to close your account or hold the account until the problem is solved and also give them the spoof email. He doesn't have much unless he got your paypal password.

As tycobb said, can't do much unless he has your paypal password. Hopefully not the same as your Ebay account. You need to act NOW and report this. You can also look and see if there is any recent activities on your Ebay by looking here: http://search.ebay.com/ws/search/Ad...sop=1&fsoo=1&fcl=3&frpp=50&sofindtype=3&pfid= Tick "Even if not the high bidder" and "Include completed listings (last 30 days)"

There was only 2 only posts other then your's when I replied. You asked the same question after they told you what to do.What were you expecting?
Yes, they can! I had a keylogger on a computer I was using for Ebay. I didn't know how long it had been on there but, one day I sign into eBay and I see in My eBay that I had a white 1971 Porshe for sell. Starting bid was $1. I immediatly emailed eBay and told them I didn't do this. To make a long story short. I got my account back about 1 1/2 weeks later. So, yes, they can do something about it, just nothing really bad such as bank info, ect.
