    Hello everyone,

Can anyone recommend me a program that will allow me to edit out some parts of the dvd and re-author it to a dvd disc with my own menu structures while keeping the original video quality? I'm totally a newbie in this area, so I prefer some easy, simple apps. Freeware or Shareware accepted. Any help would be appreciated.

For shareware, I would recommend you trying Womble EasyDVD, with its user-friendly interface and a six-step workflow, it is not hard to use, especially for novices. And it has a feature that will allow you to import dvd files, edit out some unwanted scenes from a dvd, add new menu pages and then re-burn it to a disc without video re-encoding, this means the maximum video quality preservation. There is a tutorial for you http://www.womblesoft.com/support/tutorials/04-How-to-remove-some-scenes-from-DVD-movie.html
