I have a 2 discs edition of a DVD where on disc 1 I have the movie and disc 2 contains deletes scenes. I'm trying to edit the movie to include those deleted scenes into one piece. I'm not sure if this is the right section on the forum for this question but any help on how to achieve this, guides, software would be really appreaciated.

Get DVDRemake. It will combine discs an you can delete what you do not want. It takes a little time to learn, but once you get familiar with it, you will wonder why you waited so long.

I tried DVD Remake but there's a problem. I need to cut and add scenes so this means I have to be able to monitor what happens in realtime on a screen. I was hoping there would be an editor for those sorts of problems. Functions like cut, merge and frame by frame control is a must here. I'm going to keep looking, any other suggestion welcome. Thanks.

You can do this with Remake. Just load both DVDs into it. You will end up with two projects in the window.
Than you can copy and paste from one to the other. If you need to split cell to paste what you want in it than you can play the cell till you come to that point, than split. You can move picture frame by frame.
Only thing you have to watch for is that you addition are the same as original, aspect ratio and audio format (5.1 or stereo), you cannot mix it.
