Thanks guys, I was having some problems backing up one of my DVD's and wanted to check out the ifo. I made it through DVDfab and Shrink, but when I got to Nero it said one of the files was currupted, which didn't make sense because fab and shrink worked fine. I finally gave up deleted everything and started over, the second time worked like a charm. I do appreciate the info as I have been curious about checking the ifo files anyways in something that looked more like english rather than assembly.

On a different note, I haven't been here in awhile and I see a lot has changed in regards to ripping, there was a great link that led me to a new version of DVDfab which it turned out I also needed. So I thought I would repost the link, http://www.videohelp.com for those in need.

And finally, I used to come here as grey99, but I must have used my old email address of bookerth@butte.edu, that email address is no longer valid and that account, grey99, can be removed at your disgression.

This is still one of the absolute best sites in regards to learning more and getting input on all kinds of software/hardware issues, you guys rock!

Yeah RipIt worked really good. I was hoping I could configure everything so it would literally be 1 step, but I still had to tell Shrink what to do. No biggy, it still simplied everything and applied any updates that Decrypt didn't have plus cleaned up any dirty files, nice utility.

I tell you what, I would rather work on computers over my car any day, it is taking me hrs just to change a dang thermostat, don't ever buy a sportscar unless u can afford to send it to the shop!
