editing my video

    hey after i convert my video (taken with a tony hawk helmet camera)to AVI form with an SD card reader what would be the best software to use to edit it (add music text etc.) i'm on a VERY strict budget so something free would be nice but i cant afford to mess up my computer any ideas?

    if you use xp, windows movie maker is nice =) you can add music, texts, effects...and its free.

    start > all programs > accessories > movie maker.
