Empty Applications Folder

i tried to tansfer some stuff from my computer to my xbox like dvd2xbox but when i put it in the folder it doesnt show up in my applications options on my xbox's main menu, HELP!

Make sure the main ".xbe" file is named "default.xbe"

Well I am using Evox dashboard and even I get the game thing for dvd2xbox. But I edited my evox.ini and i made a new option for DVD2XBOX.

Hey do you have a softmodded or hardmodded xbox???

Like how in evox. Evox has evox.ini

Well you might have put the dvd2xbox in the wrong folder...........

 

doesn't it go in the applications folder?!?

 

make sure everything matches in the evox.ini, if It says E:apps, make sure the file is called apps

 

He has an unleash X dashboard. So there is no evox.ini file.
But for some reason you are right josh21. The unleashX config file should be pointing out another location to add your applications.

Try adding some other applications and put it in the "Application" folder.

Just see whether it works.............

Yup your unleashX config file might be pointing out to another location for putting applications. Try softmodding your xbox again but this time put evox dashboard.................
