on a pc, i would recommend using acid pro for piecing sounds together. sound forge is a great audio editor for anything you could think off. i dont think macs can be emulated on the pc, atleast i've never heard of it being done. the cores are too different.
i have i have acid pro but for some reason it has a horrible slection of midi instruments, nothing compared to the Garageband, plus its unbelievably hard to use.
which one shouyld i download if i want to emulate Garageband(preferably the newer versions) I downloaded the Softmac XP and its saying you have to have a Macintosh ROM, is that a rom to the old macintosh or the newer current ones?, btw, what is the name of the OS that the Macbook Pro runs?
Deos that Softmac XP Emulate Mac Apps like iLife(thanks AE27) or does it run the OS's, and i dont think that the Softmac XP emulates new Apple OS's, its more for the older ones, i mean the app itself is 4 years old.
well with acid you can download new loops and midi's, same with garage band. my garage band had not one loop or midi, so i deleted it. it came with nothing. everything like this cant be found with torrents though. i've made about 8 songs with it, and people like em. check out your favorite torrent site and look some up.
