You can just use Kazaa, limewire, or bearshare to DL packages of thousands of ROMs to play with. Limewire is the safest of them all virus wise, plus it's the only one of the three that run on a Mac... I run on a Mac. OF CORSE I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MENTION YOU WANT TO DELETE THE ROMS YOU DO NOT OWN SO YOU DO NOT VIOLATE ANY COPYWRITE LAWS. Just needed to make sure I don't get in trouble for anything... heh.
I've gotta question for you though, how do you put ROMs on ur box once you've got them on your comp? You seem like u know but ur lust lookin for roms.

you can add your roms when you add the emulator.or do it through a pc via a network card.limewire pro 4.9.23 is the best for getting snes roms

Thanks for the info? How do you add a game to MAMEox if it is not on the list. (Daytona USA) does not show up on the roms list when I refresh it. CanI add it? If so, how do I do so?

    Thanks,

u can put roms from your computer onto the xbox by FTPing into it and putting it in the apps folder, i have a space for emulators on my dashboard but no real directory for it or at least i havent found one yet and thats where i put them. I transfer the roms when i add an emulator by putting them in the rom folder found inside the emulator folder. and later when i get more roms i just ftp find that directory(roms folder) and put them inside.

if u need help on ftping just write back, most forums dont explain how to do it very well, believe me ive done every type of research available on this modding subject and in the end i really ahd to find out everything by myself, so if u need help ill guide u through it, trust me itll save u lots of time. By the way ive fixed my snes problem, the solution i got a different/better emulator that doesnt interfir with the surealxxx. I also just got the gba emulator. and now that i know how to get lots of roms (i will delete after use and download the ones i really have, right;) i dont have to waste alot of time looking for them , so thanks .

Thanks dude, but I don't know if you can help me. I work on a mac and most people network on their PCs, is it any different? If you could put up some instructions that would be kickass! And can this be done by simply connecting the ethernet cable from the box to the comp? I've already got the emulators on, just need to drag my roms to the box

if u have the crossover cables then good, now go to www.download.com type in Flash FXP and download it to your mac , as far as i know it should work the same if its not compatible tell me and ill find u a FTP program that is.Install the program. Now on your xbox go to wherever your system settings are , it should show u the static ip adress, i dont now what program your using but all of them should show this somewhere in there settings.it should look like 192.168.0.2 it might be different but if your xbox is NTSC then its that adress.underneath that is your subnet mask which is 255.255.255.0 and underneath that is your default gateway which is 192.168.0.100 NOW this is how I did it I changed the IP to 192.168.0.3 i left the default alone and changed the subnet to 192.168.0.1 Now on your mac u need to go to the network connections and go to properties and find the TCP/IP line and go to its properties and it should say obtain an IP automatically or use following IP adress. click on use IP Adress and the box underneath should become available ,Now where it says IP adress type in 192.168.0.1 in subnet mask type in 255.255.255.0 then click close or ok. Now get out and open internet explorer, go to tools and click on Internet Options, go to connections and click on LAN settings check the box marked USE AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION SETTING then type in 192.168.0.1 and get out but click OK so itll save your settings, NOW go back to Flash FXP after you get past the trial thing look on the screen and find the lightening bar and click on it, itll give the option QUICK CONNECT click on it . A box will appear where it say server or url type in 192.168.0.3 then make sure its in port 21 then in user name type xbox and for password type xbox also then go to your xbox run DVD2XBOX while its loading it should say staring FTP Network if it doesn't that means it hasn't been enabled yet, if it hasnt then once the program loads, use your controller and hit the white button to load the settings or whatever button it has listed for that option.A screen should appear now browse it and find the thing that says enable network it probably is marked at no so put it at yes , do the same for enable FTP server and media change detection save your settings reboot and go back to the dvd2xbox which if u have all the cables hooked up right should say Startng FTP server or something like that now go back to your computer and click connect on the box that u left open . the box should dissapear and on the screen you should see a bunch of code scroll by really fast and then stop and say connected then above it it should show the folders on your xbox (on the right the left is the folders on your mac)from there u can choose where to place your roms/emulators ( i put mine in my APPS folder thats located in the E drive , maybe the C for u) hope this helps i dont know where the options i mentioned to change the IP are on the Mac but i know u can change them just look for itt( i know cause ive used to own a mac before) the only thing im not sure about for u is the Flash FXP working on MAC but like i said if it doesnt work just tell me and ill find something to let u use designed specifically for Mac . the other problem u might have is changing the settings on the xbox because i dont know what dashboard u have but it should still give u the options u need. If u have anymore problems write back im very patient and will help u best i can, i know this is hard and frustrating I went through alot of headache to know what i know now so goodluck!!

@king11--no offense, but try to hit the 'ENTER' button a few times when you go on a rampage like that. It's kinda hard to follow after awhile, and some people just won't read it in that style.....kind defeating the purpose of writing it in the first place.

Don't get me wrong,I'm not saying what you wrote is the problem, just the way you wrote it.

    thanx

It asks for my static IP in the app on my laptop. When I look on the xbox ftp protocol, under static IP it asks if i want to enable it. So I'm assuming the static IP is just under IP. Tell me if I'm right here.

And would you happen to have an AIM account by any chance? That would help so much and be so much faster! Mine is "slywurm"

k my settings are as follows

    PC
    IP static 192.168.2.105
    subnet-255.255.255.0
    gateway-192.168.2.1

    DNS-192.168.2.1
    -192.168.2.7

    XBOX SETTINGS
    IP static-192.168.2.225
    subnet-255.255.255.0
    gateway-192.168.2.1

    DNS-192.168.2.1

Once you get your settings done....and make sure that the IP's are in the same range, but not too far. I think 255 is the highest you can go and don't use 0. This is for the last group of digits in the IP. So once this is done, launch the FTP client.

    Use these settings

    IP-192.168.2.225
    user-xbox
    password-xbox

It should connect fine if your firewall is set to let the program through. The settings I used are just and example, but it is a guidline for you to go on. Also I know cuteftp makes a verion for Mac.....if that helps.
