this is the xbox forum, try posting this in the file sharing applications forum, you'll get more responses.

HaHa your right but you shouldve came up with something better than that like, "looking for legal homebrew games" or something

and if you were serious about the backing up thing then trust me it will be a lot easier to back it up yourself from the orig disk

i guess im sorry for presuming such things

    thats what i do main!

I got something constructive to add, It don't mean a thing that you own the games you are downloading, there is STILL no discussion of downloading games on this forum. period.

wtf! - and i suppose talking about "ripping dvd's" and copyright counter measures and circumvention are o.k. right?.. i mean what is the real difference?... take a look at yourself and what you discuss in the forums.. you are hardly talking about the weather now are you??..

what in your mind does P2P sharing mean?... mmmnn not to clued up are we?

Circumventing Copy Protection is not illegal everywhere in the world and the laws on this are very unclear. For example, you are permitted by law to make backup copies of your, well whatever it is! However the industries are trying to make it illegal to distribute the tools necessary to make the backup, i.e. DeCSS

When it comes to downloading something from the net, that's fine, its your own business, but when it comes to a website with around 100,000 worldwide users and a few entire industries waiting for it to slip up, strict rules have to be enforced. For example, if someone said, right i downloaded a game, could you tell me what to do with it now? thats fine but if some clown comes along and says, oh well, this p2p app is the best ever, full of xbox games and ps2 games, then it would be easy for some people to point the finger at aD and accuse aD of supporting piracy!

Besides, this is the xbox forum, if ya wanna talk about p2p, file sharing applications is where you should be!
