ok where to begin!!!! i am trying to create a dvd for my brother, i have the complete halloween series and he wants me to put 4 films on one disc and the last 4 on another disc,i am using dvd decrypter and winavi, i ripped the files to my desktop and i have the Merge files option clicked in dvd Decrypter so it is one file, i managed to use winavi to convert one of my files to mpeg2 but when i try any of the other films they winavi always comes up with an error message saying App Name: Winavi exe APPVer 0.0.0.0 Mod Name Videoconverter.dll ModVer 7.0.0.0 Offset 000125f4 If anyone can help me with this problem also if someone could give me some advice on the best encoders and rippers and dvd authoring software to use for this type of task i would be greatly appreciative!
DVD video is already Mpeg-2. No need to convert them with winavi, that's just going to step on your video further. Do you by chance have TMPGEnc DVD Author? This cool program will allow you to open DVD tracks and then let you copy them to your HD as MPGs. After this you can just author them with the program you like and burn away. I will tell you though that four movies on one DVD will look like crap, but that's up to you and your bro.
