trying to back up episodic dvd 98percent through on shrink read error and on decrypter got *interpretation unrecoverered read error sector 3578316 this is the first real problem ive had . the dvd played alright on my standalone but decrypter/shrink having problems thanks
You may want to open Decrypter, go to Tools, then Settings and select the I/O tab. Under options you have some choices. You can either increase the number of Read Error Retrys or just ignore them all together by checking the Ignore Read Errors box. Have you tried cleaning the original?
yes set it to ignore errors managed to decrypt and used deep analysis in shrink managed to produce a workable copy some lip sync problems but not enough to spoil it. but this was the first time i tried to use shrink without decrypter and i hit aproblem coincidence maybe. thanks for the help
Just curious, did the audio sync problem begin after the read error was ignored or did it occur throughout the entire movie? Once you have finished "ignoring read errors" you may want to go back into Decrypter and reset back to the default settings.
i was checking the movie out by moving up in chapters but only seemed to be 5 minutes out of a 40 min episode also before i ignored wouldent let me finish encoding. the other episodes seemed fine
