My Epson stylus photo R220 is telling me that Parts inside your printer are near the end of their service life. See your printer documentation. Well i dont see any thing that tells me what could be the problem. It is still printin on DVDs and paper without a problem. Has anyone had this happen to them. I cant see it being economical having this be repaired unless someone tells me different. So i am looking for an Epson that prints on DVD's and also uses the same remanufactured in I buy on supermediastore.

Anyone know of an epson that uses the same ink as the Stylus Photo R220?

    Thanks in advance.

Well I have the Epson Rx595. Caught it on sale for $80 a few months back at Best Buy. It does all theat the R220 does and includes a scanner. Its a good machine.

Don't know if the remanufacured ink is the reason that your Epson gives you that notice, but if I had an ink sucking Epson, I would use remanufactured ink, too.

But then again, I would get an HP printer.
