error 5

i messes up a soft modd awaile ago so ive bought an ulocked 1 off ebay i dont know how to lock it so my xbox will be able to read it
any help please

i messed up my xbox hdd when soft modding my xbox. so ive bought 1 off ebay which the hdd is unlocked so i get the error code 5 when my xbox starts up. am looking for a way to lock the hard drive so my xbox will work again.

 

well you will need a chip most likely because booting a Disc to lock it will not happen.....what exactly did you do to the other HDD while softmodding....

Damn that sux...the only thing i can think off is getting a chip, nothing else will work because u dont have the eeprom or the hddkey...

 

the hdd ive bought got has eprom and some txt with hdd keys tyed somthing i downloaded to do it but it didnt work

 

the eeprom and hddkey has to match your xbox's so you cant use another one.......
