ok i got an error code 13 while trying to change the main dashboard. the dash was working before, but something happened, so now i cant get an FTP connection so i cant even fix the problem. please help!
Can you still boot a game disc? If you can, restore your softmod if you created a Mod Backup using the exploit disc, if you cant you'll have to hotswap and restore the box using your backup files. Hotswap http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/332766
my error code 13 changed into an error code 16 the next time i turned it on. someone please help me i have no idea what to do
what do i do once ive downloaded slayers 2.7 i can't just put it on the hardrive, i dont have an FTP connection
Slayers is a boot disc. It should be an .iso file when you download it, use Nero to burn an 'Image' file and then pop it into the Xbox, the chip will boot it and then re-install the dash!
Gotcha. I assumed it was a softmod, almost everyone has softmodded. Right. Get ahold of a Slayer 2.7 iso it will fix the problem.
i did that and it didn't work i burned the slayer 2.7 to a dvd and booted it up, it didn't work and same with a cd please help me!
Are burning the .iso file to the disc or are you using the image method!? Nero should look like this... Then click on the 'File Type' and select Then select the file Don't forget to choose what media type. DVD is your best bet! Hope this helps!
ok then what do i do with the disc i can't boot a game. and my bank 2 though it says flashBios 3.0.3 and it has the options enable network flashing, load bios from HDD, load bios from disc, unlock hardrive, and lock hardrive. it tryed doing load bios from disc and it says insert disc and it says loading for a while then goes back to the screen where it says insert disc. and when i try to just boot a disc or game on bank 1 it just goes to the error 16 screen.
