error code 16 come up what do i do??

    when i turn my xbox on the Microsoft logo NEVER show it goes straight to the error code and i know that its something with the hdd or dash what do i do now?

    e 16 means that the dash or files critical to loading the dash are missing/corrupted. this can be fixed with a hotswap(though not reccomended) the best bet would to get a modchip and have a pro install it if you have even the slightest doupt in your soldering skills.
