I recently installed a spiderchip V1.1. The problem that I am having is that I can not boot from a CD, from what I have found was the internal clock needs to be set. I want to install a new HD also. I have Slayers auto installer 2.6final on CD but can not boot from it. Is there a way to get around the clock problem with out have to use a usb programmer to reflash the bios with a bios that skips the clock check. I can swap to another XBOX hard drive that I have how do I unlock that one to load the original dash.
flash you modchip with xecuter2 4980 or 4981, these bios have error 16 fix. MAKE SURE YOUR CHIP CAN SUPPORT THESE TWO BIOS, SINCE ITS A SPIDER I DONT KNOW LOOK AROUND. (go to www.xbox-scene.com for more info) you will then get a error 13. if you get error 13 pop in slayer auto installer and that's it.
Thanks for the help. Since I made the post my spider chips has gone bad. It continues to FRAG. So time for another chips, and I think that I will try the aladin. Thanks for the help again.
