get a program called Unlocker, once it is installed, right click the file that you are trying to delete and then depending on how you installed it, click unlocker in the context menu or click send to unlocker in the send to context menu, one it has loaded it will display a list of tasks that are preventing you from deleting the file, once it has shown you, click end task or whatever the button is labelled and then you should be able to delete the file...

PS: even if unlocker does not work in this case i recommend it to everyone who uses a windows computer the best program for its purpose ++++its free++++

no it wasn't locked exactly. it was just that another program was accessing it so therefore windows will not let you delete it.

im gunna have to try that program

    thanks phantom
