I have a mpeg that I need to get on a dvd. I researched on this forum. First I used Nerovision Express to encode it to vob files. The resulting DVD had terrible audio, it was all crackly. So I did more research and found that TMPGEnc was the best software to do it. When I try to load my video in, I get an error that says "Interconnect = 0" and something about it being incompatible. Can someone tell me what else I can do to get my video onto a DVD?
    Thanks
    Mike

If you have a Mpeg file you might not need to Re-encode it at all to Put it on a DVD and that way you would not loose any Quality..The DVD Format Supports Many Resolutions and audio formats so there is a chance that the Mpeg file you have can be authored Directly to DVD without any encodeing or at most just the audio needs to be re-encoded...If you Can post all the Specifics of your Mpeg file Like the Files resolution and Frame rate and the audio format and sample rate and if the File is Mpeg1 or Mpeg2 then I can tell you how to go about putting it on a DVD..If you don"t know how to find out this information then Download this program :
    http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable/VirtualDub-MPEG2.zip
And then run the Program and Load your Mpeg file into it and then go to "File" to "File Information" and it will list all of the information I have asked for...
    Cheers
