In new to this DVD stuff and am trying to convert an AVI (XVID) to DVD with AVI2DVD.

All goes well untill i get to the video encoding, or so it appears.

I have tried QuEnc, FreeEnc and HCEnc and i get an error at the same point.

This is my log file after my latest attempt with QuEnc:

I've tried several programs, some free others at a cost. For $20. SVCD2DVD has been the best bucks I've spent. In addition they have SUPER SUPPORT. At their forum you get specific answers to problems and they've updated the program at user request.

I'd say it will resolve your problem.

Hmm, wonder what ever happened. Have the same problem here.
If you're still roaming around here r2fs, how did you get your
XviD to a DVD? Anyone else have any help to add, I'd really
    appreciate it also.

Hey man, laughed at your story. :D
    - - -
I actually was up all night figuring it out.
    I just needed to install XviD [Koepi's - v1.1.0],
basically. Already had FFDShow's installed but they
work only for decoding it seems.
