I have a HP media center pc..m7170n..a referb. that I have had for about 1 year with ext. warranty..My DVD Writer drive went out a week or so ago and HP sent me another one, although an Hitachi brand it was still suppose to be the same..After installing it I did a complete system restore..The drive seemed to work fine but suddenly my video downloads refused to play on wmp-10 as a message error 1706 Document viewer kept occurring.(trying to load document viewer) ????.I kept clicking on cancel and finally the video plays but every time it played it then refused to play the next time until finally the computer locks up..I then did another system recovery, same problem again..I felt like the latest Nero upgrade might be the problem...Finally I only loaded back NERO 7, the first one, after another system recovery and it so far has done okay but I'd rather have the newest nero-7-5-7..Anyone have any ideas ?????
I have also had problems with "Document Viewer" popping up after installing nero 7. it initially occurred with the free 7.5.7 version and didn't go away after uninstalling it. I then bought nero 7 because it still has features i like. No luck getting rid of this document viewer pop-up. Any advice would be appreciated.
