Ok has anyone else had this problem or is it just my disk? I'm not really a newbie to burning but my problem fit this category. I tried burning in DVDShrink & then DVD Fab. I know it's not the burner because I have 2 & got the same errors from both. One is a plug "n Play & the other came with the system. DVDShrink I can understand not working but whenever I can't burn there I use Fab Platinum. This is the error message that I got in Fab.

First: Error while reading please choose what to do. The it asked Retry, Abort, Ignore, Ignore. I retried several times then I finally aborted. Then I tried again & the same things hapeened. Here is the message I got when I aborted:

    08:25:39: Analyzing of DVD started
    08:36:00: Task_1 failed! Error=102(VTS_01_0.VOB 7616512 2048)
    08:36:01: Process failed!

Anybody know what I need to do to fix this?

it's saying that he program can't read the disk...... so is it dirty? does it have scratches? try to clean as best as possible and see if that helps.... Your disk my have a bad press and you may have to return your DVD to the store where you bought for another one and try again. good luck and welcome to AfterDawn!

I'm not sure if this is an option with the program that you are using but with CloneDVD2 I was able to set the quality setting to dvd-5 and was able to back up this disc after initially running into the same problems...

I think you may be right but I only played it once before I tried to burn & did not have any problems. No scratches & I've cleaned it. It has been watch twice since.
