A couple of weeks ago i could backup my movies no problem but then my dvd writer decided to keel over and die, so i got exactly the same dvd burner again "sony dvd rw dw-u14a" and replaced it but now it won't work!!! :-( it's driving me potty!!! I went to backup a movie and got this error message? i'm using dvd shrink 3.1.7.6 and nero 5.5.8.1 using interface version: 6.0.0.0 any ideas? just a little thing but do u have anti-virus running? firewall? and if they two speed discs what speed is your drive & what speed is nero trying to burn at? Dean
